Shantae' J. Elliott-Lucas, MA, LCPC - Clinical Therapist

Shantae’ J. Elliott-Lucas is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor in the state of Maryland. Shantae has 10 years of experience providing clinical treatment to client with an array of mental health concerns. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR certified and uses an eclectic approach to help her clients. When she is not helping her clients achieve their therapy goals, she enjoys anything of the arts, community services and spending time with those closest to her.

Mercedes D. Hernandez, Ph.D. – Licensed Psychologist and Bilingual Specialist

Mercedes D. Hernandez is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University, Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. Dr. Hernandez has extensive experience working with clients across the lifespan in correctional, community, and academic settings, providing evidence-based culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care and suicide prevention. She is trained in CBT, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy providing clients with an eclectic approach to treatment that promotes hope, autonomy, and the ability to change. Some of her personal interests are cooking, dancing, and reading.

Da’Keisha M. Johnson, MA, LCPC, CGP – Clinical Therapist

Da’Keisha M. Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is also a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist and an Approved Clinical Supervisor in the state of Maryland. Da’Keisha has 10 years of experience providing individual and group counseling for children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient mental health clinics, community-based programs, and correctional institutions. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients achieve optimal mental health. Some of her areas of special interest are helping people manage stress and anger and improving relationships. When she is not holding space for others, she enjoys walks in nature, window shopping, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and binge-watching Marvel movies and shows.
